2024 Erasmus Department Coordinators Evaluation Meeting

The 2024 Erasmus Department Coordinators Evaluation Meeting was held on December 12, 2024, at the International Relations Coordination office. The meeting brought together Erasmus Department Coordinators from various faculties to evaluate the processes of student and staff mobility, and discuss the future of the program at our university.

The first part of the meeting focused on the steps involved in the management of Erasmus Student and Staff Mobility. Participants discussed innovations and improvements made to ensure that the application processes are transparent, effective, and easily accessible. Suggestions were made to ensure that applications are collected in a timely and accurate manner, to clarify the application evaluation criteria, and to overcome any challenges encountered during the process.

The importance of Erasmus exchange programs in the context of our university’s internationalization strategy was also emphasized. The experiences gained by students and academic staff abroad were highlighted as valuable contributions to both personal and academic development. It was noted that, through Erasmus, our university has expanded its global network and strengthened international collaborations.

Another key agenda item of the meeting was the measures to be taken and the new policies to be implemented in order to make future Erasmus mobilities more efficient. Participants exchanged ideas on strategies to better guide Erasmus applications, increase student and staff satisfaction, and provide more international collaboration opportunities in the upcoming periods.

The Erasmus Department Coordinators Evaluation Meeting is perceived as an important roadmap for the future of exchange mobilities, aiming to create stronger international interaction and opportunities for our university’s Erasmus Program.
