A preparatory meeting was held at Aksaray University for the Erasmus Staff Week scheduled to take place between 4–8 May 2026. The meeting brought together academic staff from various disciplines in line with the main theme of the programme, which focuses on the use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education. Faculty members from Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Education, and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences participated in the meeting.

During the session, participants exchanged ideas on the content of the programme, session topics, and potential collaborations to be developed throughout the week. Discussions also focused on how artificial intelligence applications can be integrated into different academic fields, their contributions to teaching and learning processes, and ways to enhance interdisciplinary interaction.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for participants to share their field-specific experiences and expectations, contributing to the development of a more effective and inclusive programme. Overall, the preparatory meeting was considered an important step toward ensuring that the Erasmus Staff Week will be academically enriching, innovative, and collaborative.
