Erasmus Staff Mobilities Meeting at ASU

On October 22, 2024, Aksaray University Erasmus Office organized an informational meeting for academic and administrative staff. The meeting covered KA131 projects, which facilitate staff mobility between program countries, and KA171 projects, which enable exchanges with non-EU countries. Detailed information about the application process, requirements, and the various opportunities provided by these programs was also shared with staff of ASU.

In addition, information was provided on KA210 Small-Scale Partnerships and KA220 Cooperation Partnerships. These new types of collaboration projects were highlighted as opportunities to foster innovative partnerships and international cooperation across different disciplines.

In his opening remarks, Erasmus Coordinator Prof. Dr. Melayib Bilgin emphasized the potential impact and benefits of the Erasmus program for staff. He pointed out that the program contributes to the professional development of both academic and administrative personnel, while strengthening inter-institutional cooperation through international experiences. He also stressed that these mobility projects allow staff to adopt new approaches in education, research, and administrative work.

The meeting served as an important step in enabling Aksaray University staff to gain further insights into the Erasmus program and take advantage of international cooperation opportunities.
