Aksaray University hosted an International Staff Week organized by the International Relations Office between 04–08 May 2026, welcoming 17 academics from 7 different countries.

Throughout the event, which was held under the theme of “Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education,” the role and impact of artificial intelligence in higher education were discussed from various perspectives. The program included academic sessions, teaching activities, workshops, and interinstitutional cooperation meetings.

Academics from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Education, Economics and Administrative Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine of our university delivered various trainings and presentations to the international guests. During the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences related to their fields of expertise.

Within the scope of the program, official visits were also paid to the Aksaray Municipality and the Rectorate of Aksaray University. Thanks to the cultural activities and the Cappadocia tour organized during the week, participants had the opportunity to closely explore the historical and cultural richness of the region.

This productive event, carried out in line with the internationalization vision of our university, made significant contributions to strengthening global academic collaborations, enhancing intercultural interaction, and developing new project opportunities.
