The Erasmus Information and Experience Sharing Event, organized by the Aksaray University Erasmus Coordination Office and ASU Erasmus Student Network, provided students with the opportunity to learn about the Erasmus program and share their experiences.

In the first part of the event, the Aksaray University Erasmus Coordination Office provided a comprehensive briefing on Erasmus study and internship mobility programs. The application process, selection criteria, grant support, and key points to consider while studying abroad were discussed. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about the Erasmus process and receive direct answers.

In the following session, students who had participated in the Erasmus program shared their experiences, offering insights into the advantages and challenges of studying abroad. Participants had the chance to hear firsthand how Erasmus contributes to academic and personal development. Additionally, Alla, an Erasmus student from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv who came to Aksaray University under the Erasmus KA171 program, shared her experience of being an exchange student in Turkey and spoke about the opportunities and challenges of living in a different culture.

During the event, participants were also introduced to the ASU Erasmus Student Network student organization. The management team emphasized that the network is open to all students who have participated in Erasmus or are interested in engaging with international students. They highlighted their role in guiding Erasmus students and organizing cultural events, social gatherings, and various activities, inviting all students to join the network.

At the closing of the event, Head of the International Relations Office Prof. Dr. Melayib Bilgin emphasized the importance of the Erasmus program in providing students with an international experience, stating: "Erasmus is a global opportunity that greatly contributes to our students' academic and personal development. Experiencing new cultures, improving foreign language skills, and being exposed to different education systems broaden students' horizons. The experiences shared here today serve as a valuable guide for students considering Erasmus."
