Erasmus Student Mobility Orientation Meeting

On 31 March 2026, the Erasmus Coordination Office at Aksaray University organised a comprehensive orientation meeting for students who had been selected to study abroad under the Erasmus Study Mobility programme for the 2026–2027 academic year.

During the meeting, a number of key topics were discussed with the aim of ensuring that students could begin the mobility process in an informed and well-prepared manner. In particular, the process of completing Online Learning Agreements (OLA), the principles of academic recognition, application procedures for host institutions, and Inclusion Support were explained in detail. Furthermore, potential situations students might encounter during their studies abroad and suggested solutions to these situations were shared.

It was emphasised that the Erasmus process is not merely an academic experience, but also makes significant contributions to students’ personal development and international perspectives. In this regard, the critical points students must pay attention to in order to complete the process smoothly and efficiently were conveyed in detail, and participants’ questions were answered individually.

Students who spoke at the end of the meeting expressed their views and expectations regarding the international learning environment offered by the Erasmus programme, the opportunity to experience different cultures, and the aspects that contribute to personal development. The orientation programme concluded successfully through mutual interaction and the exchange of information.
